Read a scan report

What a dynamic code records, what it leaves out, and which window the free plan shows.

About 2 min

  1. Open the code in My QRs

Scan counts exist for dynamic codes. A static PNG has no server in the path, so there is nothing to count. From My QRs, open the code and read the analytics on its page.

  2. Read the derived fields

Each scan can store a country, a city, a device class (phone, tablet, or desktop), an OS family, a timestamp, and a daily fingerprint. The fingerprint is a SHA-256 of the IP address and browser with a salt that changes every UTC day. The raw IP is not stored. The fingerprint does not match across days.

  3. Know the free window

The free plan’s dashboard shows the last 30 days. Pro and above show the full history. The counts are approximate by design: the redirect is sent first, and the analytics write happens after.

  4. Export when you are on Pro or above

A CSV export is available on Pro and above. The file contains the same derived columns (time, country, city, device, OS, and whether a referrer host was present). It does not contain a raw IP.
