Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
Plain-English note: these terms describe the agreement between you and QRBliss when you use the service. They are not a substitute for advice from a lawyer about your specific situation. For the short version of our privacy posture, see the Privacy Promise.
1. Acceptance
By visiting QRBliss or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Continued use after we update these terms means you accept the updated version.
2. The service
QRBliss is a QR code generator and short-link redirect service. Static QR codes you generate are yours forever — they encode the destination URL directly and do not depend on us to keep working. Dynamic QR codes redirect through qrbliss.com/r/<code> and remain functional only while your account remains active and these terms remain in effect.
3. Your account
- You must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for any activity carried out under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use QRBliss. If you represent a business or organization, the person creating the account warrants they have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
- We may suspend or terminate an account for the abuse grounds listed in section 4, with or without prior notice depending on the severity.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use QRBliss — including its dynamic redirects — to:
- Distribute malware, phishing pages, scams, or content that violates applicable law in the jurisdiction of either the scanner or the destination.
- Impersonate another person, brand, or organization in a way that could deceive a reasonable visitor.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages directing recipients to a QRBliss redirect (text-message spam, email spam, comment spam).
- Circumvent the safety-screening pipeline (e.g. cloaking the destination at scan time to evade Safe Browsing checks).
- Resell, rebrand, or expose QRBliss as a standalone service to your own customers without a written agreement.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to disrupt the service or its underlying infrastructure (rate limits, the redirect resolver, the auth system).
Violations may result in immediate suspension of affected codes, account termination, and — for serious cases — referral to law enforcement.
5. Free and paid tiers
- Free tier: 15 active dynamic codes, unlimited static codes, 30-day scan analytics, 5 saved logos. The free tier is provided as-is and may change with reasonable notice — we’ll never reduce what you have already created on the free tier without giving you a way to keep it.
- Pro and Business: paid plans unlock additional limits, features, and support. Pricing is shown on the pricing page; changes apply on the next renewal.
- Billing: paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe. You authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal — we do not prorate refunds for the unused remainder of an in-progress billing period.
- Downgrade behavior: when a paid plan lapses, accounts with more than 15 dynamic codes will have additional codes paused (not deleted). Re-upgrading re-activates them.
6. Content and ownership
- You own your content. The QR codes, destination URLs, uploaded logos, and other content you put into QRBliss remain yours. You grant us a limited license to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the service for you (resolve redirects, render previews, deliver exports).
- We own the service.QRBliss, the visual design, the brand, the code that runs the service, and any content we publish (this site, blog posts, marketing material) is ours. Don’t copy or rebrand it.
- Feedback. If you send us feedback or suggestions about the service, we may use them without obligation or compensation. You retain no claim over improvements we ship that resemble your suggestion.
7. Safety screening
Dynamic-code destinations are checked against Google Safe Browsing at creation time, on every rule edit, and via a periodic rescan. URLs that match a malware, phishing, or unwanted-software entry will have their redirect disabled and the owner notified. Restoration requires changing the destination to a safe URL.
Safety screening is a guard rail, not a guarantee. We do not warrant that every destination is safe at scan time; we do warrant that we operate the screening in good faith and act on confirmed reports.
8. Termination
- By you: you may delete your account at any time from settings. Static QRs you have already downloaded keep working (they encode the destination directly). Dynamic redirects stop resolving once the account is deleted.
- By us: we may terminate or suspend an account for the acceptable-use violations in section 4, for non-payment on paid plans, or if we are required to by law. For non-fraudulent cases we’ll provide at least 7 days notice when feasible.
9. Service availability
We aim for high availability but we don’t promise a specific uptime percentage on free or Pro tiers. Business plans may include a service-level agreement; if so, the SLA terms supersede this section for those accounts. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe), and force-majeure events are not breaches of this section.
10. Disclaimers
QRBliss is provided as-is and as-available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from a course of dealing or usage of trade.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QRBliss’s total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim and (b) USD $100. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold QRBliss harmless from any claim arising out of your content, your destination URLs, or your violation of these terms — including reasonable attorneys’ fees. We’ll notify you promptly of any such claim and reasonably cooperate at your expense.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of- law principles. Disputes not resolved informally within 30 days of written notice will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service changes or when required by law. For material changes we’ll email account holders and update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
